You know, its kinda funny since I made that last comment I sold my old car and bought a G35 and after taking a look at the motor and really learning about it, I can see that you do have a point. The supercharger really isn't that big, its just the way the plenum on these engines is designed so theirs just no room to work with a roots style supercharger. With the 4.0 V8 in my old Lexus an M90 or M(S)112 sits snug with the adapter.

thats actually not a big supercharger not even close, the only kit available(stillen) also requires the hood to be cut or there own hood which isnt any better looking. you cant modify a super charger to fit the casings really are just big enough to contain the rotors, the only way to go smaller is a smaller blower, the next size down from that one only pushs enough air to match the stock z power level(meaning it will drain power and produce nothing extra.)

eh,I'm not mad lol.My brother's CA18DET sounds exactly like this so I guessed it was a CA18. I always knew the SR to sound different,but everyone makes mistakes.

not really lol.If you knew about the CA18 engine then you'd know that it sounds like this.Ive been around the SR engine a long time now and Ive never heard it sound like this..not a fail but more of a misconception.
